According to most veterinarians, it's a fact that a dog falls into the “senior” category around age seven. This categorization is influenced by the size of a dog, as smaller dogs mature slower and become seniors later in life than larger dogs. 

Before the Bridge

We are proud to collaborate with local Indigenous Communities and often discuss the possibility of opening a retirement home for rez dogs. The older dogs often come to us with osteoarthritis, old injuries that didn't heal properly, broken or missing teeth, and unfortunately, the occasional buckshot in their hindquarters.
