Adopt from PUP
The Paws Up Program is a foster-based animal rescue organization that doesn't have a physical facility. Instead, all the animals in our care are looked after by kind and loving foster homes, who take care of them until they are ready to be adopted by their forever families. Every successful adoption means that a foster home becomes available to take in another animal in need.
ADOPTION FEES
The Paws Up Program's adoption fees cover a portion of the cost of care, including food and veterinary services. All of our animals are vet-checked, up to date on their vaccines, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before they are made available for adoption.

Step 1 – Apply
See an animal you love? Fill out our online application. Our Adoptions Director can answer any questions at kirsten@pawsupprogram.com

Step 2 – Review
We’ll review your application and respond within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder.

Step 3 – Meet & Greet
If approved, we’ll arrange a meeting between you, your family, and the animal through the foster home.

Step 4 – 7-Day Trial & Fees
All adoptions include a mandatory 7-day trial. Adoption fees are due at the start of the trial.
• If you complete the 7-day trial and decide the animal is not a good fit, the fee will be refunded in full.
• If the animal is returned before the 7 days are up, only 50% of the fee will be refunded, as giving up too soon can harm the animal’s mental health and prevent them from settling in.
• The only exception to ending a trial early is if there is aggression or a serious safety concern.

Step 5 – Finalize
After the trial, we’ll finalize paperwork so your new family member is officially yours.

We love updates! Share your pet’s progress so we can celebrate their happy ending.
